FIELDCRAFT AT SCRAESDON
FORT 23-25-OCT-15
40 cadets, 10 senior cadet NCOs and 8 staff attended Scraesdon
Fort , an old military fort now used for training, to spend a weekend of
Fieldcraft skills development. During the weekend a number of refresher
lessons were given after which the skills were put into practice in a number
of exercises. To ensure that all energy was burnt, the cadets went on the
'mud run' with a steep him climb at the end of the course. Not even the Directing
Staff cadet NCOs escaped from taking part in the course. Officer Commanding
Plymouth & Cornwall Wing, Wing Commander Reis, popped in to see the
activities first hand and to address all the cadets including the senior
cadet NCOs who organised many of the activities under the command of the Wing
Fieldcraft Officer. The pictures below
